Rachel M. on Pirate Cat Radio!

Check out Rachel M. on Pirate Cat Radio's Kings of SF show last March for the Issue 6 Release: http://www.kingsofsf.com/2008/03/31/poem-dome-loins-mouth/

Issue 7 is Just Around the Corner!

Hey Everyone!

The Loin's Mouth is throwing its Issue 7 Release Party/Fundraiser at Annie's Social Club (Folsom @ 5th) on October 30th at 8pm. There will be great bands (the Corruptors, Slowfinger, Hashishians, and one more band yet to be announced), brand new Loin's Mouth tee-shirts, and of course, plenty of booze to go around. Only $8 and costumes encouraged!

Also, in case you missed it, The Loin's Mouth won "Best Neighborhood Rag" in the SF Weekly's "Best of SF 2008" issue and "Best Local Zine (Print)" in the SF Bay Guardian's Reader's Poll for the "Best of the Bay 2008." Needless to say we were honored to get so much love. We can't wait to get the new issue out the door!

See you at the party!

XOXO

ISSUE 6 OUT SOON!!

Hey Everyone! Long time, no updates! As it turns out our web guy moved to Washington DC to be closer to his ailing parents. As a result we haven't updated the website in a long time. That's all about to change though!!!

As for the new issue, ISSUE 6 comes out Friday, March 28th. Come down to Whiskey Thieves and grab a copy before it's too late!

SF Mission Infiltration!!!

Hell yeah, bitches! That's right!

Yours truly, Rachel M., Hack Journalist/Editor-in-Chief of The Loin's Mouth, will be wandering around IN THE MISSION this weekend, shooting a video for my friend Shelby's new band "Hipster" (which is totally freaking hilarious, I might add).

If you're out in the Mission this weekend, watch out for a rag tag group of idiots in headbands and white belts--that is, if you can distinguish us from the rest of the retarded general fashion morons. (Might be easier to look for a "Loin's Mouth" hoodie. haha)

Issue One Has Arrived!

The Loin's Mouth staff and tons of friends celebrated the arrival of Issue One at Diva's on June, 2. Great music, a hilarious newspaper, and four floors of tenderloin freakiness.

A little tidbit from inside: by the end of the night we racked up more than DOUBLE the bar minimum for our party! As if that were ever in doubt... it's not like we're some group of lightweights from the Mission. We are straight from the Loin's Mouth. We drink. AND we tip!

Here are some snaps:
